As the title says, the game delivers an amazing experience once you've understood all of its mechanics. It's an actual game that you need to invest at least a bit of time into to understand how the combat works, how to best master each dungeon (strategy over brute force, that was a nice touch by the dev team imo), and slowly unraveling the game's secrets in the process. Fitting its title and theme, the game shrouds itself in mystery - and rare for its genre: It doesn't hold your hand all the time. Exploration, testing and figuring out its workings is a fun part of the experience - at least that was the case for me.
The story itself at times reminded me of Fatal Frame games, and since I enjoy the stories in these games, the same was true for Nebel.
The game also delivers on content, offering plenty of both NTR and Pure Love scenes, all illustrated with beautiful CG artwork and sometimes lineart for scenes between Kana and the MC.
I also want to say that I sincerely appreciate and respect the developers decision of creating a real game that offers a bit of a challenge and involvement from the player. It's clear that they have a passion for making good games, and wanting the game to be the best it can be by providing QoL patches that improved the experience ever since release.
My only critique for the game would be that I believe the camera surveillance system to have had more potential, especially for fans of netorase content. While our MC can decide to watch his girlfriend being held by another man, he remains too passive for my tastes, and except for one of the game's (many) endings never addresses the ongoing harassment or his gf's affair. Some more involvement would have been amazing. Still, an absolutely great game.
Recommend to all fans of NTR, to fans of Pure Love overcoming NTR, to fans of ghost-mystery games and to fans of beautiful artwork.
