The animations vary somewhat inconsistently, but I’ve seen many that are worse. In comparison to the original Taimanin Asagi animation adaptation, this is noticeably lackluster. I wouldn’t say it is bad though, just not what I expected. I do think the art style and animations are better here than in the Yukikaze adaptation (excluding episode 1 of course). All in all this is nothing more than average. If they decided to add multiple scenes instead of just one and increased the episodes length it would have been much better.
